SELF-CATERING

Self-catering | $80 (min 2 night stay)

Includes:

Game Drives – 1 morning and 1 late afternoon drive to a sundowner venue
Full complement of staff including a chef
Complimentary tea/coffee in the tents
Toilet paper, Shower soap and shampoo

Excludes:

National Parks Fees – these are payable on the way in at the Marongora or Chirundu National Parks Offices. These fees are subject to change without notice. (Please note that guests will not be permitted to drive in the Park without the Park Fees been paid unless other arrangements have been made with Rukuru Management)
Wi-Fi – Limited Wi-Fi available in the lounge area at a cost of $5 for 1024 MBytes

CATERED

BOAT HIRE

$160 full day dry rate – 06h30 to 17h30

$90 for ½ day dry rate – 06h30 to 12h00 or 12h00-17h30

Marine Fuel: $2 per litre

Rates exclude National Parks fishing & river entry permits

BUSH WALKS

$200 per group per day for the Pro-Guide. This excludes a once off cost for fuel for pro-guide to come into camp- depending on distance.

Pro-guide needs to be booked for a minimum of 2 days – (Subject to availability- please book in advance)

STAFF / GRATUITY TIP

At Rukuru Camp we strive to ensure that you have a happy and memorable experience.

Discretionary tips for the staff would be greatly appreciated if you feel they are disserving.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

A minimum of 50% Deposit is required within 7 days of presentation of invoice to secure the booking.

Full payment must be made 4 weeks before arrival.

Bookings cancelled more than 3 months prior to arrival date – full refund.

Bookings cancelled between 3 months to 30 days prior to arrival date- 50% refund.

Bookings cancelled less than 30 days before arrival date-100% of full invoice amount is forfeited.

Please note a 10% administration fee is charged on all cancellations.

No shows will forfeit full payment.

Unfortunately, we cannot host bachelors / bachelorette parties due to the safety risk with Rukuru Bush Camp being in a wilderness area.

TRAVEL & CANCELLATION INSURANCE:

It shall be the sole responsibility of every Guest to arrange and effect his/her own insurance cover and to ensure that he/she and his/her dependents and travelling companions have adequate cover for the duration of the booking.

Rukuru Bush Camp strongly recommends that Guests obtain comprehensive insurance to cover the following:

accidental death and disability

major medical

emergency medical evacuation

loss of personal effects

trip cancellation
